At Curtin Mauritius, Orientation is more than just an introduction — it marks the beginning of an exciting journey of learning, discovery, and connection. Each semester, we welcome a vibrant community of students from Mauritius and around the world, coming together to start a new chapter filled with possibilities.
This July, Curtin Mauritius welcomed over 500 students, including 72 international students from across the African continent and 20 exchange students from France, Germany, and Norway. Together with our local students, they form a dynamic and diverse community, bringing a wealth of cultures, experiences, and perspectives to our campus.
Our Semester 2 Orientation embraced the theme “Radiate – Illuminate Your Future” — a call for students to unlock their potential, shine in their uniqueness, and embrace the opportunities ahead. The week was designed to inspire collaboration, creativity, and connection, setting the perfect tone for what awaits them at Curtin Mauritius.
From interactive activities and creative workshops to moments of fun, music, and art, students worked together, built new friendships, and discovered the power of teamwork. The energy, diversity, and shared passion experienced during Orientation reflect the very spirit of Curtin Mauritius — a place where students grow academically, personally, and culturally.
